The Calgary Women Fly Fishers Club is thrilled to be part of the Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show from February 21-23 at the BMO Centre! This annual event is packed with exciting demonstrations, educational sessions, and the latest outdoor gear. As we prepare for a fantastic weekend, we’re reminding members that anyone who renews their membership before February 14th will receive a free ticket for themselves and a plus one to the show. On Thursday, January 23rd, the Calgary Women Fly Fishers Club had an incredible evening of learning and camaraderie at our Fly Tying Night with Silvia D’Amelio. Silvia not only shared expert fly tying instruction on chironomids but also provided valuable insights on how to fish them effectively. We were especially thrilled to welcome so many novice fly tyers to this event!
