Membership Secretary

The Membership Secretary plays a critical role in managing the club’s membership platform and fostering member engagement. From handling membership renewals and event registrations to maintaining communication with members using automation tools, this role ensures smooth operations and strengthens the club’s community. This is a highly supportive, "back of house" role and will require someone organized, with the ability to manage a range of tasks, including the biweekly uploading of event registration information.

Estimated Time Commitment: 5 hours/month.

Recreation Coordinator

The Recreation Coordinator plans and organizes our recreational events throughout the year. This includes booking venues, organizing event logistics, and ensuring a welcoming and fun experience for participants. With 4-5 events to manage annually, the Recreation Coordinator works closely with the board and volunteers to bring exciting programming to life. Our previous coordinator will remain as a Friend of the Board, providing additional support and guidance for anyone new to the role.

Estimated Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/month, primarilly in the spring & fall months.

Member Connections Coordinator

This role is key to organizing our in-person meetings (e.g. social events and fly tying instruction) and fostering a strong sense of community among our members. Responsibilities include booking venues, securing guest speakers or fly tying instructors, and ensuring logistics are in place for a seamless event. While this role is more active in the fall and winter months, it’s an important position for connecting members and facilitating club activities.

Estimated Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/month, primarily in the fall & winter months

Vice President

The Vice President supports the President and provides leadership in their absence. This role is perfect for those who want to gain insight into the inner workings of the club and are eager to take on new challenges. You’ll have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, assist with event planning, and shape the future of the club based on your interests and the club’s needs. The time commitment is flexible but requires consistent participation, particularly in meetings and key events. Please note we have an active candidate for this role.

Estimated Time Commitment: 5-7 hours/month.
