On March 10th, the Calgary Women Fly Fishers Club hosted an insightful event at Prairie Dog Brewing, a family- and female-owned craft microbrewery in Calgary. The “Anatomy of a Fly Rod” session featured Andrew Mysyk from Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO), Calgary’s own local fly rod manufacturer. With over 20 years of experience, TFO shared their expertise on how the different components of a fly rod affect performance, from casting to fish fighting.
Prairie Dog Brewing provided the perfect venue, known for its inclusive atmosphere and commitment to local craftsmanship.
